Example Pituitary Tumor (Dr. Helenowski Experience)

This patient had a Pituitary Tumor which was growing. The patient refused open surgery because of advanced age but accepted Gamma Radiosurgery.

Image 1a and 1b - Pituitary Tumor (circled in red) at the time of Gamma Radiosurgery.

Image 2a and 2b - Pituitary tumor (circled in red) approximately 4 years after Gamma Radiosurgery.

This case is presented as an example only of what has been achieved with radiosurgery by Dr. Helenowski. Each case is different and there are no guarantees that patients with similar appearing tumors will have exactly the same response even if treated the same.
